OUR MISSION
We create clear, engaging, and informative explainer videos for businesses in technology. Our work persuades people to make smart decisions in their everyday lives and has a positive impact on our customers, society and the environment.
Through entertaining animation and powerful stories, we help persuade viewers to make changes that improve their lives. Whether that’s adopting a new product, giving them the facts they need to make an informed decision or swapping old behaviours for more productive ones.
Our Story
We’re a small but mighty agency led by me, Luke Wilcoxson. Our expertise lies in explaining the complex in a simple and persuasive way. No jargon, no bull, just relatable stories that inspire people to change.
Before I founded Only the Bold my career journey led me to work as an in-house as a graphic designer, for branding agency, in a digital marketing agency, in a video production agency, and for myself as an international motion designer. Now as founder and creative director I use this experience to solve problems for our clients through animated storytelling.
Great design is beautiful problem solving and that takes a broad set of skills. We collaborate with our clients to interweave your expertise and ours into videos that get results. We work with some of the best talent around the globe and hand pick the right team for your project.
We’re not trying to be the biggest agency but we are striving to be the best. That’s why we’re on a constant mission to make the most highly converting animations for you.
We take insights from the science of selling, the art of persuasion and from studying behavioural psychology. By better understanding human nature we can get better results for you.
I took the opportunity to build Only the Bold to follow my passion and give clients the work they deserve. And to remove all the frustrations I had seen clients experience with other agencies.

No rushing to churn out low quality work to maximise profit. No running with bad ideas just to avoid an honest conversation with the client. An end to; under-communication, bad briefs, endless revision, and wasted time.
In short, a big NO to low quality work and broken systems.
Every month we plant 24 trees - when you work with us we plant an extra 25 for you!

We accept it's a bit like sticking a bandaid on an artery pissing with blood but some action is better than no action! This is why we also committed to sharing our story as we become more sustainable, in the hope we’ll inspire others to do the same.

Luke Wilcoxson
Luke dislikes writing in the third person but loves problem-solving. He worked at various agencies, from branding to marketing and video production. He uses this combined knowledge to solve the challenges of creating animations that inspire change.

ALMA ROSA BAUTISTA VALDEZ
In a previous life Alma worked as a lawyer and represented Mexico at the United Nations. Now she uses her knowledge and vast experience in managing projects and teams to create videos with a purpose that promote human rights and sustainability.

Azul, PHD
Head of morale and mental health. Azul regularly entertains our clients with unnecessary barking mid zoom call. She describes herself as a foodie. Her pet hates are adults on scooters, squirrels and most recently helicopters.
